Anxiety
ANXIETY. Most of us experience it at some point in our life, I know I have. With the pressures in society these days - work, family, friends, finances etc. Its normal and its okay to feel this.
What's important is how we speak to ourselves about it, because this shapes our beliefs, our beliefs create our behaviors which lead to the results we get. Where we put our attention and focus is what grows.
When I get anxious about something, I reframe how I think of it.
I say to myself that I am nervous because something good is about to happen, I am about to GROW.
This keeps me focused on the growth aspect of the feeling, not the "hold me down" feeling.
I challenge you to try this next time you get that feeling.
